If you haven't gone out to the wrecking yard and started pulling parts for your vintage truck you might be gettin too late to do that. I would do that but I have this problem called I'm lazy as fuck and can't get off my ass.

yeah, it's a old age thing. besides, the "rules" they have in U-pull it yards have gone insane in the last 20 years. have a 94 Toyota and "their" website says there 3 of them there. BUT, I get there and there are none. so much for that plan. as I see it the golden age of those kind of yards was back in the 1980-90's. get a engine for 100 bucks kind of thing. now they want a grand or more?
ReplyDeleteI've got 4 '77-'79 C-10/K-20s, 2 K-5s and a few '99-'05 GM trucks and Yukons around the dirt here. It's fun playing with adult Legos and keeping spares to cannibalize, besides being just plain economically and intellectually viable to surviving the upcoming Clown World festivities.
