Went to the doc this morning. He still thinks I should have surgery so he is contacting insurance again to see about getting an mri.
Doubt if they will, I've only had 5 weeks of therapy and they said 6 weeks.
I guess we will see. Next week is my 6th week of therapy.
And here is my thought to insurance:
Go on over to Sector Ocho and read the post he made about college education and degrees. He is right on point.
Too much has been made over the years about going to college.
Why?
The college won't exist and be able to function without people who know how to do plumbing, auto repair, etc.
For a long time I have held the opinion people who can use their hands well should get paid as much or more as doctors, lawyers etc.
This girl was 14 when she got pregnant.
And the father? He was 12.

2 years ago I rented a chrysler pacifica. I wanted to move it forward 2 feet. So i opened the door, sat down with one foot outside, put it in gear, and it immediately applied the brake and would not move. Because i had the door open.
Seriously. This guy threatens to kill a sitting president and he doesn't get looked at for how long?
As the old saying goes you know you are over the target when you start taking flak.
The ladder I was on wasn't unstable, just old. The leg cracked and went sideways. I gave $5 for the thing in 1988 or so at a going out of business sale.
Insurance said no to the mri, gotta do 6 weeks of therapy they said.
So here it is almost 4 weeks from my fall and I just this week got my first week of therapy. Which was 30 minutes monday and 30 minutes wednesday.
Too early to tell if therapy will help, but time has improved my use of the arm. Can't lift it very well, but more than I could.
