The Pilgrims found that out when they first came to America. At first everyone shared the crops and shared alike until they found that the laziest did nothing but eat what others produced. Once they allowed those who were willing to work and produce to profit from their labor, the food supply flourished and the lazy had to do or starve.

ReplyDeleteThe early Christian church found this out early on. Thess 3:10: "The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat."

OK. Give the little green man a rake and say "YOU rake the leaves then." He's an illegal alien, after all!
ReplyDeleteTypical illegal; he comes to your neighborhood, points a gun at you, and tells YOU what to do!
