I have a question

I have a question for the ones out there who have their own website or websites, with your own domain name.

What hosting service are you using? And would you recommend them?

I am currently in the process of studying HTML so I can make my own website and do with it as I please. I am beyond tired of being censored by blogger.

Since I am a high level procrastinator it is taking me a while to learn. I am in the pre-whiny stages of a not yet beginner.

I know there are tools I can use to do this, but for now this is my preferred method.

Wish me luck.

  1. I run a very small specialty blog for forensic pathologists (www.billoblog.com). I use Hostinger because I like to set up my own server. Hostinger sells both managed and not-managed vps's, anything from pont and click websites to bare bones vps. My service is about $15/month. I don't get a lot of traffic, so I can't speak to high volume performance, but it seems good for no frills, no hassles.

  2. Divemedic over at sectorocho.com hosts several conservative blogs including "Big Country Expat". You might contact him regarding hosting on his server.
