All these decades of giving stuff to people without expecting anything in return are about to come back and bite us in the ass.
This government shutdown looks to me like it could go on for a few more weeks, maybe even months. Could go down as the longest one in our history.
But according to the article, in november money for snap benefits goes away unless .gov has a miracle pulled out of its ass.
Millions of americans and illegal aliens alike are not gonna get their "free" money. And then what happens.
Maybe nothing. But more likely we are gonna see a whole bunch more people in the streets throwing bricks & flaming bottles.
Thanksgiving might be a little different this year.

ReplyDeleteWell, I've seen videos of when the computers crash and EBT stops. For a coupla hours. And the results are alarming.
ReplyDeleteIf they bothered stacking the bricks in traditional manner, there would be more houses to live in, and they'd get paid. But who bought the bricks for them to throw?
ReplyDeleteIf they used the gasoline to drive to work, or a trade school, they'd either earn money or learn toward that. With the price of gasoline so high, they could even sell it to those that do. But who bought them the gas, and the bottles to throw it in?
