The question you should be asking, is why, WHY, WHY THE FUCK WERE THEY FLYING GROWLER VERSIONS OF THE F-18?!?!?! The plain-jane vanilla ones are a billionty dollars a pop, but we've got a bunch of trainer models and other one's here stateside not being used right now. The fancy ones with eleventy-billion dollars worth of electronic jamming pods and other sooper-sekret shit on 'em, ya parade THOSE ones in front of the rubes at OshKosh? Really? We only have like 5 or 6 of them left now that the mullah's whacked a bunch of them on the tarmac in Saudi Arabia... and you used those for the demo flight? The incompetence is beyond staggering, this has to be intentional.
