When you read the article you will find that the reason they are pissed about these cameras is that ICE has been accessing the databases.

About 30? years ago the city of fresno installed red light cameras. People really got up in arms about that and got them removed in about a year? or two? As far as I know they are still gone.

In the mid 1980's I received a ticket from San Francisco for either speeding or running a red light, I forget which.

Which made no sense cause I hadn't been there in several years.

After looking in my schedule book I found the date in question and I was about 200 or more miles south of Frisco on that date.

On the ticket I received was a phone number, but there was also a checkbox. That checkbox said, check here if you were not in town that day. So I checked it, mailed it back and haven't heard from them since.

Wonder how many people paid the ticket and weren't even there? Hell of a way to collect money.

 Piss on the pay bullshit. I read a meme here a while back that said if the government shuts down, prohibit all of members of congress from running for re-election.

Now THAT I agree with. But I would go further. Piss on this shutdown, make the law to prohibit running for congress if they don't pass a BUDGET. Not a continuing resolution, but an actual budget.
