My grandson took a few minutes on his work to stop by a store in Hanford. There he found this toolbox:
I found a place online that sells Proto. The bottom box in the pic above sells for about 2 grand.
When I saw the price I thought wow, that's too much for a toolbox like that. Then I looked up Proto, which is the brand of those boxes. Check this out:
I won't be buying a Proto box anytime soon.
I was gonna say; $400.00 isn't out if line for that size of box, given their cost new!
ReplyDeleteOne of my "yard sale scores of a lifetime" was an IMMACULATE Snap-On rollaround about the same size of the lower box in your first set of pics for $150.00! I mean, this box didn't have a SCRATCH on it! Mine has a top box with a lid instead of a work surface. I looked it up on line later and found that they were going for $1200.00, WELL used. There was a Mexican guy telling the seller he was selling it too cheap while I was getting my wallet out. He and I almost got into it over his interference!
