U.S. Army Shatters Recruiting Records Under Trump’s Command — Best Recruiting Numbers in 15 Years
THIS is what happens when you have a Commander in Chief that our country can respect.
Under the previous administration enlistment numbers for each branch of our military had plummeted. But now that President Trump is removing all this transgender equity dei crap, our military is becoming respected again. Our country is becoming respected again.
And with respect comes a desire to serve.
Many of us took this oath. I took mine in mid August of 1970.
This will be a slow process to restore sanity, but it is a good start.
Yes My Retarded Ass Signed Up in June 1999, after getting a BS in Forestry and jobs were unavailable. Got to my unit and it, like most units, were at about half-strength, but would be up to full-strength by late 2000.
ReplyDeleteYou know how they did it then? I got a $9000 signing bonus to play with landmines and concertina wire, grunts got $8k to $16K depending on length, and lots of poor White boys signed up.
We know what happened shortly thereafter.

ReplyDeletewhatever. close to 15 years all told. kids ask me today and have for years about "joining up". I tell them they be better off to learn a good trade. the so called G.I. bill ? yeah. they gutted it in my first hitch.
and it has go downhill ever since. NOW. you can join the TSP saving program ! yeah. like a E-3 or E-4 has any spare cash to save for retirement ? and don't even ask me about VA care !
as we say, the VA . giving troops a second chance to die for their country.
also too, you get taxed on EVERY bonus you get too. at the top rate. 25% or more. so, yeah. I tell kids it not fucking worth it to join
up. do anything else you can before you fuck yourself like that.
BTW, they having "problems" feeding the troops these days too.
healthcare ? same thing. housing ? same thing. there is a lot spent on PR bullshit when they should be fixing what is wrong first.
