I'm guessing the deputized IRS agents will simply used to PROCESS the newly captured illegal immigrants, filling in the paperwork so that the Border Patrol - ICE agents can be kept out in the field actually doing the physical capturing. It would be more efficient - IRS agents are not used to running down their targets. Pushing paper - yeah, they do that all the time.
ReplyDeleteThis would actually help, as when the Open Borders policy was implemented, you had the BP agents actually babysitting and processing the paperwork, keeping them out of the field and allowing drug smugglers better chances of walking through.
This is just a guess though - lets see how this plays out.
