  2. I was considering buying stock about thirty years ago. Went to the parts counter and asked for the price on an alternator for one of the cars on the showroom floor. I was accustomed to the AC Delco or Motorcraft of the day. Ballpark Benjamin ish.. I don't remember now but exactly but it shocked me. IIRC it was getting close to five hhndred.

  3. That's somewhat like working on a car made by Mitsubishi. Those cars were put together at the factory from the inside out, and were NOT built to be repaired! Kia has Mits beat though. That caliper is MORONIC engineering!!!

  4. Use a box and wrench to loosen the caliper frame bowl, and once you’ve got it turned almost to the depths of the box and wrench simply use an open and wrench to get it the rest of the way out,

  5. I’m assuming their engineers have access to 3D CAD design systems and this didn’t pop up as an interference?
