I have a question

 I have a question for the ones out there who have their own website or websites, with your own domain name.

What hosting service are you using? And would you recommend them?

I am currently in the process of studying HTML so I can make my own website and do with it as I please. I am beyond tired of being censored by blogger.

Since I am a high level procrastinator it is taking me a while to learn. I am in the pre-whiny stages of a not yet beginner.

I know there are tools I can use to do this, but for now this is my preferred method.

    I run a very small specialty blog for forensic pathologists (www.billoblog.com). I use Hostinger because I like to set up my own server. Hostinger sells both managed and not-managed vps's, anything from pont and click websites to bare bones vps. My service is about $15/month. I don't get a lot of traffic, so I can't speak to high volume performance, but it seems good for no frills, no hassles.

      Yep, and they have wordpress and free website building software for the nubie. Ben with them for 8(?) years.

    He hosts BCE and WRSA, and maybe you could shower him with some moulah. Of course, wokeism and DEI and lgbtrsvp and such are unlikely to gain much traction there other than derision and mockery, so think it over....

    I use DreamHost. They have a Wordpress variation available. The plan name has changed. I have "Shared Unlimited
    Started on 2002-05-10
    1 Year Plan $155.88

    They have been almost trouble free over (yikes!) 23 years.
