The window breaker was trying to avoid getting glass splinters in her face (for which she could sue, legitimately!). I just apply my breaker to the exact middle and let 'er rip. If you are too damn stoopid to open the window when ordered to by LE, too farkin' bad.
If you desire to break a car window, just tap it in the corner where it meets the body.
