The date this story was posted over there was Feb. of 2009. So the story is a little dated, but I think the premise still holds true.

I found the link to this story in a comment to an article I was reading titled

I haven't been following this controversy. Apparently Idaho farmers are getting water shutoff to about 500,000 acres.  Which have already been planted. Because they are supposedly running out of water.

But apparently that water is now going to a cobalt mine. And the money for the cobalt mine is coming out of the ukraine money.

At the moment we have a volunteer military. Which WAS doing just fine until all this woke bullshit took it over.

I mean, why the fuck would you join to help defend your country when your commander in chief doesn't have your back? The CIC withdraws without giving you help to defend yourself and bring yourself home saafely. The cic is more worried about pronouns than paying you enough money. The cic is more worried about transgender idiots being in a safe space.

When you have to take the clot shot against your wishes? If it could be proven it works, then maybe. 

The article says registering for the draft was always voluntary.

That's bullshit, it was never voluntary. The assholes always threatened anyone who didn't want to comply. It was always your government "benefits" will be withheld. No registration, no scholarship or grant money for you, go fuck yourself. Any thing to do with the federal government was always held over your head. If you don't do this, then we will not help you.  An Arizona Highway Patrol officer stops a Harley rider for traveling faster than the posted speed limit:

He asks the old biker his name.

This is what I do.

 I have almost finalized my decision to get a newer used phone. Why?  For this very reason. The newer ones take much better pictures than my old one does. Makes it much easier to read the labels in the store. I get the used unlocked phones. Much cheaper.

So this is kind of surprising. I wouldn't have expected any jury anywhere to convict him of this charge. 

To me, that just doesn't compute.

 I am traveling this week to Michigan. We are having a miniature family reunion at my sisters place.

There will be 8 of us. 5 of us are old and decrepit and generally can't move well, but there will be about 3, or maybe 4, youngsters to help.

I say youngsters, hell they're all over 40 with grown kids of their own. And Grandkids.

Anyway I will be back saturday.

I will post a few things when I can. In the meantime enjoy the folks on the sidebar. 

My brother and sister left from Lubbock this afternoon.  It's crazy. They had to fly south from north Texas all the way to Houston. From there they will fly to Chicago.

Where my two daughters and I hope to meet up with them around 6 am Sunday Morning.
