It Isn't My Coffee That's Affected

FDA Recalls Popular Coffee Grounds in 15 US States Due to One Major Blunder in Their Labels

It is not a good thing to mess with a man's coffee. MMM MMM MMM. Don't do that.

I read the headline and thought oh crap what's going on now.

But the problem is just the labels. I guess they say decaffeinated when the stuff is not decaffeinated.

And I guess that's a problem for some people. Could be a big problem too depending upon the persons tolerance for caffeine.

I drink 2 sometimes 3 cups of hitest coffee in the morning after wakeup. If I don't do that I can function, but I'm grouchy.

I used to make a big pot of coffee in one of those mr. coffee pots, and I wouldn't drink the whole thing that day. But the next day I would heat it up and finish it off.

  1. "Midwatch coffee..." The stuff that was brewed in the ship's mess "the night before" for the night watch, and would probably gel if left in the cup too long... Ahh, life at sea...

I still percolate mine in one of two pots, the youngest of which being about 50 years old. The product extracts EVERYTHING from the grounds, and is the envy of the La Brea Tar Pits...
