"The gop is not for me."

I was at Western Rifle Shooters reading away, when I went to this article they had a link to:
The gop is not for me.

I read this article and to me the guy makes a lot of sense. But. If what he is talking about ever does come to pass, I think maybe the north and the rest of the country may just leave them alone.

What are your thoughts on the article?
