I smashed my right hand bigtime yesterday.Was going to post pics but too hard to do. Typing is difficult enough
I did a stupid by dropping a transfer case in the palm of my right hand while under the truck. Only 27 stitches and no broken bones but can barely use my right hand.
My daughter is getting me an internet device soon. Hoping that will give me better connection.

As a retired mechanic I can feel that. Transfer case, your hand, concrete. Expletives deleted. Allan
ReplyDeleteFred, you don't do it halfway when you mess yourself up. That hurts just thinking about it. I never dropped a transfer case, but I've dropped transmissions. This is an example of why transmission jacks were invented. They work on transfer cases too.

P.S. Did I ever tell you about the time that I (literally) bounced an engine, as a formula wrench? Screws in block ...to hoist, not threaded deep enough.
