In the news a while ago was Flint, Michigan about their drinking water system. They had and apparently still have a bad thing going on in their water.
But what about your water supply in your city? Is it really safe to drink?
This Article from Food Safety News.com is talking about contaminants in bottled water as well as your tap water.
Indeed, PFAS are detectable in the drinking water of more than 1,400 communities in 49 states, according to research by the PFAS Project at Northeastern University in Boston and the Environmental Working Group (EWG), an advocacy organization that estimates 110 million people may have tap water contaminated with the chemicals.

The Cops Acted Stupidly
Shouldn't cops have to pass some sort of test to ensure they aren't stupid or something?
2 cops in Denver went to the wrong hospital and arrested the wrong woman for 2 days before they figured out she wasn't the one they were looking for.

I wonder if the title of this post is why I am seeing so many damn homeless people on the streets these days.
I shit you not, driving down freeway 41 is like driving down skidrow in LA. There is a tent or tarp or trash or something about every 50 to 100 yards, or even closer together.
These assholes are all over the place. At 41 and Shaw ave exit ramp, the local panhandler has his spot to beg for money, when he gets tired he goes across the ramp to his tent, and campchair that are in the shade of a big old tree, and marinates for a while.
Freeway 41 going south from the north end of fresno has literally dozens of homeless encampments. And of course no one can do anything about it because of the laws in this state.
Little Johnny
Nancy Pelosi was visiting a primary school in Tampa and visited a grade four class. They were in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings.
The teacher asked Mrs. Pelosi if she would like to lead the discussion on the word 'tragedy.' So our illustrious Democrat asked the class for an example of a 'tragedy'.
One little boy stood up and offered: "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a tractor runs him over and kills him, that would be a tragedy."
"No," said Pelosi , "that would be an accident."
A little girl raised her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove off a cliff, killing everyone, that would be a tragedy."
"I'm afraid not," explained Pelosi .
"That's what we would call great loss."
The room went silent. No other child volunteered. Pelosi searched the room.
"Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?"
Finally at the back of the room, Little Johnny raised his hand. The teacher held her breath.
In a quiet voice he said: "If the plane carrying you was struck by a 'friendly fire' missile and blown to smithereens that would be a tragedy."
"Fantastic!" exclaimed Pelosi , "That's right. And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?"
"Well," says Johnny, "It has to be a tragedy, because it sure as hell wouldn't be a great loss ... and you can bet your sweet ass it wouldn't be an accident either!"
The teacher left the room

However, nobody who has followed California politics for any length of time will claim Governor Gavin Newsom is sensible about anything not involving the obtaining and retaining of power. He has just signed an executive order on Monday that aims to ban the sale of new internal combustion engine cars in the state by 2035

I Had to Laugh
A couple of months ago my grandson moved out of his moms house and into his own place.
He has a full time job, and so he likes his days off when they come up.
I was on the phone with him a few minutes ago, and I had to laugh.
We were ending the conversation when he said "I guess I will go find something to do". So I said if you want you can come up here to my place and hang out with grandma while I am at work.
And here is where I laughed. He said if I do that then I have to put pants on!
Oh my gosh. Here I am laughing again.
CDC Switches Again
CDC is switching horses in midstream again, and is removing their statement about covid 19 having airborne transmission capability.
On Monday, federal health officials said the post was a mistake and that it had been released before full editing and clearance was completed. They said the CDC plans to clarify the agency’s thinking, but the agency did not immediately release a statement or revision.

Product Did Not Work
As part of my prepping, I purchased a small foldable solar panel to use the sun to recharge items such as my phone, some rechargeable batteries, etc.
Well, this unit i purchased is a brand called Foval Solar Pack. It was $44 plus freight and tax.
Anyway, it came in today. So I figured what the hell i will give it a try and see how it works.
Well, it does not work worth a shit crap.
I plugged my android phone into it, set it outside in full sunlight, and in the space of 25 minutes, it had lost 4% of charge.
Told my wife that, and she laughed like I haven't heard her laugh in years. At me and my bad solar panel.
Oh well, guess i will continue my quest for a recharger unit.
