If I remember correctly, the cop let the driver leave WITHOUT his wife, whom he also drove away from without giving her a ride. After all, it would have been inappropriate for him to use a police cruiser for private business. He left her standing beside the road in the middle of BF Nowhere.
"And then he knew....he messed up?" Seriously? SHE is the issue here, not some guy who hooked up with some random women he likely assumed was single. Not endorsing Tinder, or any app as a way to meet people, but SHE is the one who knew she was married.
