Extend the water trench a bit along the long sides so you have a grenade sump. I think that's the term.
Bravo Zulu dragonslayer- grenade sump is something I dug in every hole. Sump hole is pointed down at an angle so you can kick a grenade in and press against the hole walls to avoid the frag.
