BLM Riot Turns Into MAGA YMCA Dance Party

Air Conditioning

I was reading at PawPaw's House and followed a link he had there to this article about air conditioning.

The article is talking about the planet will be adding billions of new air conditioning units to the mix.  And all of this, of course, will cause problems with our electric grid.

Not to mention global warming etc.  But the part about the electric grid you should pay attention to.  Maybe even start thinking about how to generate your own electricity and show your kids and grandkids how to do that.

Funny Stuff

I found a blog called hardnoxandfriends.  Got some funny stuff over there.

On January 1st, a group of Pekin, Illinois bikers were riding west on I-74 when they saw a girl about to jump off the Murray Bake Bridge. So they stopped. George, their leader, a big burly man of 53, gets off his Harley, walks through a group of gawkers, past the State Trooper, and says to the girl, “What are you doing?”

She says, “I’m going to commit suicide.” While he didn’t want to appear “sensitive,” he didn’t want to miss a be-a-legend opportunity either so he asked … “Well, before you jump, why don’t you give me a kiss?”

So, with no hesitation at all, she leaned back over the railing and did just that … and it was a long, deep, lingering kiss followed immediately by another one.

After they finished, George gets approval from his biker-buddies, the onlookers, and even the State Trooper, and says “Wow! That was the best kiss I have ever had Honey! That’s a real talent you’re wasting Sugar Shorts. You could be famous if you rode with me. Why are you committing suicide?”

“My parents don’t like me dressing up like a girl.”

It’s still unclear whether she jumped or was pushed.

Nuclear Generated Electricity

Electricity in california is a big concern this year.  Because of asshoe newsom and the dimocrats obsession with so called "green" energy production,  we don't have enough electricity when the weather gets tough on us, as it is doing this labor day weekend.

Asshoe newsom has signed orders letting the "dirty" energy producers off the hook of rules for a few days, just so california can have enough electricity for the weekend.

A lot of people in california would like to see more nuclear power plants.  They say "it is safe, cheap energy!"

I say bullshit.  Just take a look at Fukushima.

I operated nuclear reactors for the U.S. Navy from 1970 to 1976.  Or rather I trained from 1970 to 1972, then on an aircraft carrier from 72 to 76. I guess they are safe, when things are done properly.  But who is to say things are always done properly? Hell, just take a look at Chernobyl.

On the ship, we routinely discharged radioactive contaminated water to the ocean, thousands of gallons at a time.  Fukushima at the present time is not discharging water to the pacific, but is putting it in holding tanks onsite.  By 2022 they will run out of holding capacity and will have to dump it to the ocean. Here is a link to a story about that.

So I say generate electricity with dirty coal and natural gas, supplement it with solar and wind, and put in some more hydroelectric plants.  Put solar panels on the roof of every house in california, and you will have a few metric shit tons of electricity during the day.

Anyway, I do not want nuclear power generation anywhere near me or my family.  I know, I'm a puss.  Oh well, comma.

New Jeep Wagoneer

Need a new SUV?  Well, the Jeep Wagoneer will do the trick.

Starting out at a measly $60,000, it can go up to a measly $100,000.

The new full-size SUV will be offered in luxury and non-luxury versions in an attempt to compete with not only Chevys and Fords but also Cadillacs and Lincolns.

Californias Green Energy Isn't Working Well

Asshole governor newsom has had to sign orders allowing existing "dirty" energy plants to make electricity to help stave off the heat this weekend.

Joke for Today

While on a road trip, an elderly couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch.
After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant and resumed the trip.
She had left her glasses on the table, and she didn’t miss them until they had been driving for about forty minutes.
By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before
they could find a place to turn around in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses.
All the way back, the elderly husband became the classic grumpy old man.
He fussed and complained and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he chided her, the more agitated he became. He just wouldn’t let up for a single minute.
To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant.
As the woman got out of the car, and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses,
the old geezer yelled out to her, “While you’re in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card”.

I Swear, Government has Done Jumped the Shark

American Community Survey

Government has jumped the shark. They are done. They are finished.

Go to the link for this survey that they want me to fill out, which is REQUIRED BY LAW.  Dumb assholes.

In addition to the names, ages, races, sexual orientation and more, they want to know the following:
# bedrooms in your house
how big is your house
how much is your water bill
how much is your sewer bill
in the past 12 months who got married, who had children
do you have a premium for health coverage, how much is it
how much would your place sell for
how many acres is it
how many bathrooms\ ad infinitum

Goddamn dimocrat sunzabitches

The asshole dimocrats in the california senate have banned republicans from being in the capitol building and participating in legislation, theoretically because one repub tested covid positive.  In reality these goddamn sunzabitches were looking for any excuse, and they found one.

Repubs have to vote from afar, on zoom or something, which is illegal to begin with, but they are making the rules.

Melissa Melendez said it best: This is complete bullshit.

Story Here.

Airlines are Dropping Fees for Changing Tickets

Looks like some of the airlines are getting tired of losing customers so they are changing a fee.  Now you may not have to pay to change your travel plans.

Normally in summer, 2 million or more people pass through security checkpoints at U.S. airports each day, but that number hasn’t been above 900,000 since mid-March, the early days of the pandemic.
