Bought some stuff today.

 

See those two bags? Those two bags, with not really all that much stuff in them, represents a $94 purchase at walmart.

Two packages of underwear, bras, about 7 things of yarn, a small slingshot, and a soda.  A few craft items. $94.00

This is crazy. On the way home we passed by an EZ Trip gas station in madera. Selling 87 octane regular gas at $4.33 per gallon. There were at least 30 cars in line. The other 2 gas stations were at $4.87 per gallon. 

About three miles down the road another EZ Trip station selling 87 octane regular gas at $4.72 per gallon.

In june those prices were $6.39 per gallon. How does inflation cause gas prices to go down? Someone is manipulating the hell out of things.

Being on a fixed income, it is hard to buy as much as I want to and used to buy. But this 0% inflation of slow joe is starting to really hit me hard.

This is me today.

Harley-Davidson Threatened to Cancel Warranties Over Aftermarket Parts

 The company faces two class-action lawsuits from owners who were told their warranties would be voided unless they used factory parts and dealer service only.

I'm not a motorcycle rider, but if I was I would want to be able to take my bike where I wanted to for repair. And not have to fight for warranty coverage.

When I was working, part of my job was to sell chemicals for boilers to help keep them clean and corrosion free. I remember that I lost several customers due to a similar warranty exclusion. The customer would buy a clayton steam generator. The clayton company would tell the purchaser that in order for the warranty to be valid, the customer could only use the boiler chemicals that clayton would sell to them. Faced with this dilemma, of course the customer would quit using my products and use the clayton chemicals instead. I lost 3 very good customers that way. 

So I can see why harley davidson customers would be upset by the warranty language and exclusions.

This may be similar to what some of the farm tractor manufacturers are doing with having dealer only software. And thus not allowing the customer to be able to repair their own equipment.

A major network is planning the show "Survivor" this winter.

This is what happens to so called authority when someone stands up to them.  Why are they surprised that someone wants to kill them?

When I was in school, there were bullies. If you were being bullied you either lived with it or stood up to it. You stood toe to toe chin to chin and slugged it out. 

When that starts happening to these bullies, they don't like it much.

Bullshit. The conditions now are the same as they were then. Identical.

There is one difference though, and that is the politics of it. People now are not so docile about lockdown and quarantine. People are not as willing now, as then, to believe in a vaccination miracle.

What do you do for a common cold? What do you do for the flu? If you can, you stay home and don't go to work, thereby infecting everyone around you. If you can't stay home you go to work and infect everyone around you.

That is the way life works, always has and always will.

No matter where you fall on the political spectrum, you should be absolutely horrified by what the FBI just did.

I think this is correct.

Donald J. Trump was doing exactly what he said he would do, and exactly what us real people WANTED him to do.

It is time that someone actually did things for the people, FOR THIS COUNTRY, instead of the petty political selfserving crap they always do.

Here is a list of presidents who were cocksuckers: obama, bush, clinton, bush, ford, carter, nixon, kennedy, eisenhower, truman, roosevelt. And probably all the rest of them. 

If Donald Trump doesn't get the nomination this time, someone like low energy jeb is going to get it. De Santis, maybe. But that's a longshot I think, cause the cocksuckers don't want someone with actual principles trying to do this job.

I think that this story embodies what the left thinks of us.

Electricity Bills are taking all my money.

 This electricity billing cycle, my wife and I used 55 kwh per day of electricity.

A year ago for the same billing cycle we used 60 kwh per day of electricity. Which is 5 kwh per day less usage on this billing cycle.

We paid $140 more for electricity on this billing cycle than we did one year ago.

Well, almost every day since the beginning of july has been over 100°. We ran our air conditioning unit 24 hours a day for almost a month. And that is normal summer usage for this time of year. It is always this hot in our summers.

But crapanitley, we use less electricity than last year and our bill INCREASES by 26%????

Thank you Pacific Gas & Electric. Thank you dementia joe, for having the foresight to shut down most of the energy producing sector so that our rates go up, all in the name of gaia.

I read a short story one time, about a political scenario similar to this.

One really connected guy in the white house organized a political witchhunt where rightwingers who didn't go along with the white house ideas were rounded up and never seen or heard from again. The reason they were not seen and heard is because they were taken out behind a barn and shot and buried in a mass grave.

This went on for a few months. Lots of people got disappeared.

The story is told from the perspective of a young female intern who was very sympathetic to the left wing ideals of the white house. One day this young intern was driving to washington and traffic was stalled. Everyone was looking up at an overpass where two people were hanging head down from the overpass obviously dead.

There was a giant sign, I don't remember exactly what it said.

But the gist of it was these guys were traitors and this is how traitors get dealt with. The intern turned around and went home and stayed.

A few days later all of the people  involved in this coup against america were captured, including her. And all were hanged.

Major Duties: Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.
