This story from the LATimes says that as of Sunday morning the state of california has 7030 deaths. I don't know if I believe that.
Not a word of that is on the news here locally, not even on the never ending talk of covid on the talk shows. So I really don't know what to believe about the covid death toll in calif.
One place i read says tulare county is the hardest hit at 79 deaths. Another place i read says la county is experiencing an average of 41 deaths per day this last week. And then up in san francisco they haven't recorded a covid death since june 18.
So I don't know if all that adds up to 7030 deaths in this state.
The article says that los angeles county accounts for 1/3 to 1/2 of all infected cases in calif. Must be all those daca kids?
Here is that article.
