My wife had a flat tire and the reason could not be found until, like this, the tire was taken off the rim. A small triangle of metal had cut into the tire on the tread where you couldn't see the entry hole. 1 in a billion.
It is weird how small stuff like that can cut into a tire. Whats even stranger to me is how a #8 screw can go into the sidewall and make me buy a new tire.
