In our country, one of the things that we have almost always been able to brag about is our drinking water is of good quality.
In some cases, like Flint Michigan, there have been some good size problems.
But overall, the United States has good quality drinking water.
Now comes this story. Someone hacked into the city water supply of a town in Florida and changed the parameters of sodium hydroxide being fed to the system.
To use a phrase that law enforcement likes to bandy about, "In this day and age", why would any water agency have their water treatment facility hooked up to the internet? Hell, a third grade kid might be able to hack that. The interrnet of things should not include my drinking water!!!
