Companion Planting

My youngest daughter has gotten into gardening.  I think in another life she might have been a farmer.

She sent a link, via email, to a companion planting guide from The Old Farmers Almanac. The article list numerous plants that can be used to protect other plants.

I haven't gardened in quite a while, but I did plant marigolds around my veggies when I did garden.  They protect plants, but they also look good.

  1. I remember growing up and we always had a huge garden and mom would plant several different flowers amoungst her vegetables. Mom said it was keep bugs away. Seemed to work.
