Crude Oil Inventory is Down. Does This Mean Rising Gas Prices?

I don't know enough about crude oil to print on the head of a pin and fill up the space.

Crude oil inventories in Cushing, Oklahoma, are down more than 40% from start of 2021

But I wonder if falling inventory is a precursor to rising gas prices.

They are already high over by Big Sur in california. $7.59 for unleaded, $8.49 for premium.

Even if you're filling up a car with a relatively small tank, at $7.59 per gallon, you're looking at over $75 for just 10 gallons.
