The "incorporated area" (inside the city limits) of my town LEVIES A TAX on the SQUARE FOOTAGE of concrete on a person's property, including the house slab, calling it a "storm runoff management tax." Of course, the storm water continues to run down gutters to "dips" in the road, to the main road, flooding the main road, as it makes its way to a certain north/south road, where it floods that road as it makes its way to the riverbed... as it's done, unabated, for over a hundred years... Your tax dollars at work... Toronto has NOTHING on this place...

ReplyDeleteThe dude is correct. When I lived in Colorado, they introduced that extra "tax" because we had an RV pad that was uncovered. They charged an extra "tax" for that...still do likely...
