I have to remove the carburetor from this type of motor. It will not start, and has good gas. I sprayed Brakleen into the carb. It will start on brakleen, but will not continue running. So remove the carburetor. I tried.
I could not figure out how to remove the choke linkage. I had an 8 pound sledge hammer waiting in the wings to take care of the linkage problem. I stepped back, drew a breath, put down the sledge, and looked up this video on you tube.
Now tomorrow I will do it again.
