Mandate or no, I figure if a business owner says "please wear a mask in my establishment" I will comply.

I agree with you. If a business says no mask no service, i will leave and do business elsewhere or not at all. As far as i know, there is no law in Texas that mandates masks. The cop that did this needs to be fired. We have become too docile, too politically correct in this country.
