There are so many acres of almonds here, i don't think there is enough people in the world to fill them up. About 4 miles east of here they have taken out hundreds of acres of olive trees and pistachio trees and building several subdivisions. The houses are so close to each other the neighbors can hear everytime you fart or flush.
I haven't seem almond orchards in a long time, a wonder they ain't bulldozed and made into a subdivision....
