Need money? Not a problem if you are the city of cleveland ohio. Simply tax the earnings of a doctor who does not live in the city, or even the state for that matter.
What the heck is a state line between friends anyway. Kind of reminds of calif. had looked at taxing people who move out of state. Never did hear what happened to that.

Ohio made worldwide headlines about 10 years ago when Marion instituted a " piggyback" tax . If you live in Marion County but work in another county Marion still gets to tax your income just like the county you work in does . Marion has been in democrat control for many years . I remember when my wife's cousin was mayor . He employed the entire family in the city gubmint . Every deadbeat had a high paying job . For life !
