 California faces holiday week of storms, likely travel troubles

Travel troubles. Hell, 1/2" of snow would shut this place down for a week.

I remember when I was a kid in the panhandle of Texas we would get some hellacious snow storms. There was an old chicken coop building where we lived, it was only about 6 feet tall. When the snow came and the wind blew, snow reached all the way to the roof of that thing. 

Our driveway(dirt and gravel) was about 100 yards long. I remember my dad would make me help him to shovel out two tracks for the tires of the car to travel in. What a pain in the ass that was.
