Best Knife Brand? Benchmade, Buck, Zero Tolerance, Spyderco, Cold Steel,...

I carry a Buck 110 folding knife and have for years. I like it, it is well made and stands up to abuse.
I carried a Kershaw quick opener folding knife for a while and I really liked it, but I couldn't get used to clipping it in my pants pocket. And I didn't like carrying in my pocket at all.
So for me the Buck 110 is my knife of choice.
How about you guys?

  1. It depends on what my day will be. If its out in the woods just woods loafing, a Victorinox Fireman is my choice. Knife, wood saw, serrated blade among the tools.

I enjoy collecting knives and own quite a few makes. But EDC carry, my trend is toward a Swiss Army knife.

Typical office day, a Victorinox Prince, simple slip joint that is extremely thin in pocket and easy to carry. Have another model on the key chain, it too a Victorinox.

  2. EDC - Spyderco UKPK or HH Urban. Along with that, a Victorinox Classis SD for those who cannot be trusted with a higher quality knife.

  4. Spyderco Dragonfly2. Really nice feel, lightweight, easy to open with one hand. I have bought many others since but I always go back to my Dragonfly.

  6. If I'm deer hunting I carry a Buck 110, waterfowl hunting I carry a Buck 321, small game a Buck 107 & fishing a Buck 127 or a 123. And always have a Buck 703 in my pocket. Yeah so Buck is my favorite.

  7. I own a Buck 110, and carried it on my belt for years while a field service tech. Before that, an original Leatherman. I did not like the non locking blades however. I still have it.
My EDC now is a Kershaw 3655. I hate the pocket clip and never use it. I have a smaller Kershaw as well. I prefer the larger blade.
I have a nice Swiss Army knife, the Grand Prix, which has been renamed since I bought it in the 80s.
