Human waste used as fertilizer??

Yearly ‘battle’ begins in North Korea over human waste for fertilizer

How would you like to live in North Korea where they have an annual quota for you to collect human waste to use as fertilizer?

Can you imagine that? I can't.

This type of control is what democrats want.

  1. Actually it was wide spread in the middle ages in England and in Europe for "Night Soil" to be collected early in the morning by people using a cart to collect out of each home and then transport it out to a farmers field to be used as humanure... The waste from animals was also picked up and spread out on new fields and crops as fertilizers were very hard to come by and manure is rich in nutrients and microbes... The Asians still use human and animal dung to fertilize crops.

    1. I did not know that. Learn something new every day. Thank you.

    2. I wouldn't discount it too strongly, you may have to use it at one point if we go side ways and survive to grow plants to feed ourselves.
