What do you think a cyber attack against america would look like?

 The amount of knowledge I have concerning cyber stuff is so miniscule that it could probably be etched onto the point of a small needle.

So, what I am doing here is simply guessing. Am I right about my guess? Your guess is as good as mine.

If russia or some other giant country were to cyber attack the former usofa what result would that have?

First, they would probably attack our power grid and cause it to go down nationwide. Is that even possible? Oh lordy lordy wouldn't that be bad. Remember Texas when their grid went down during that winter storm? At least they got it back in a relatively short time.

Second, they would probably attack our communications grid and cause it to go down nationwide. Can't call your daughter to see if she needs anything? Haven't heard from our son in 2 days time?

Third, financial sector? With no electric and no comms the financial sector is down isn't it?

Fourth, with all this going on I believe our truck transportation industry will grind to a halt. If that happens we are terribly screwed.

Everyone? knows that we only have about 3 days worth of food and goods stored on store shelves. When that is gone what happens if there are no more deliveries? And if banks and atms are not working where will the unwashed masses get money to stand in line at the stores that do have goods to purchase? And ebt cards won't work anymore. So violence will probably break out on day 1, maybe in  the first 6 to 12 hours.

That is the end of my guesses. What do you guys think might happen?
