Last monday I was at my wifes doctor with her, I took a phone call and pulled my mask down to talk. I got severely yelled at and the nurse finally said Those are the rules! And I told her to hell with your rules. She didn't like that.
Same day just 20 minutes later, wife gets called in so we go down the hallway to the room. Walk right past the Doctor! who is dictating notes into a microphone. Maskless. What the hell? He can go maskless while dictating notes but I can't on a phone call? And we are less than 2 feet while passing by?
Fast forward to yesterday. Finally get done with the damn chemo, at the same facility as above. (The damn pharmacy tried to tell the RN the order the drugs were to be administered. Caused quite the kerfuffle, and an hour delay.)
Go down to the main level, walking down the hallway. There is a line of about ten ladies in a side hallway sitting at their desks working. Two of them are sitting there laughing and talking to each other. Maskless.
Can you say hypocritical?
Calif asshole gov newsom says EVAHBODY gots to wear the masks!!! How many pics did we see over the weekend where he was maskless with his buttbuddy magic johnson.
All I am saying is if you make the rules, you damn well better follow them.
I have to go in for wound care on an venous ulcer that is four years not healed and I catch mask-less nurses and docs all the time at the hospital and I call them out on it all the time, if I can get a chewing out, then they get a chewing out.
