A couple of electrical substations got shot up in Moore County, N.C.

Vandalism suspected in outage that left thousands without power in Moore County

‘Intentional vandalism’ reason for mass power outage in Moore County, authorities say

I think the article said about 45,000 people are without electricity. When it is cold as heck in the beginning of winter.

Looks like only 2 substations were shot at. Yes I said shot at.

How many people, how many 30-30 or 30-06 or rule 308 will it take to shutdown the whole state of electricity?

How many illegal aliens of fighting age have come across our southern border? How many of those hate america??

How easy would it be to take out some of the massive electrical transmission line on towers thruout the country? Not too difficult I would think.

Now is the time for you to think about long term alternatives to refrigerate your foods when the grid is down.

  1. Other sources say this was a response to a purposed drag show at a local spot

    1. I saw that but I thought the police debunked that. In any event, it shows how relatively easy it would be to disable the grid or a portion of it at least.

  2. Choose the right transformers and it will affect a much larger area. Our electrical grid is very susceptible to several different threats in addition to being shot. Anyone who has much experience working with high voltage could tell you how easy it really is.

  3. Alleged drag queen show for the "military residents of the area". Reckon they will change the name to "Fort Drag"?

  4. I'd like to think how using those fine weapons on getting rid of those illegal aliens would work rather well. This is the start of guerilla warfare and onset of CW2.

    1. Yep, I believe you are correct. Iron sights or scope, they work rather well.

  5. Interesting to say the least. Remember the shooting at the substation in CA a few years back? Never found the shooter(s).
I think that it should be noted that perhaps someone decided that the exploitation of children was reason enough to inconvenience the entire community. I hope so.

    1. That could be, but i do not think the police are pursuing that avenue. At least not yet.

  6. The more something like this happens and the more the media talk about it the more people will decide it's a pretty good idea...and try it.
And the odds of getting caught are virtually zero...unless you are an abject idiot and leave evidence lying about.

    1. Yep. The ones who did this in san jose some years back are still out there somewhere.

  7. Relatively easy to kill the power infrastructure. That's all I will say about that.
