Apparently the shooter is dead. The article mentions 2 dead in the headline but does not go into that any further.
Gateway Pundit has numerous articles about this over there. One of those is claiming the shooter used a .22 LR at about 200 yards.
If that is the case, how did he get that close?
I think the shots sounded bigger than a .22 LR, from the video I saw.
You shouldn't have heard a .22 lr at 200 yards.

DeleteI also doubt very much that it was a .22lr. With a 50 yd zero on the rifle, most ammo in that caliber would drop anywhere from roughly 35 in to 55 in at 200 yds and have a tremendous amount of wind drift. There would also be little energy left for a killing shot on a squirrel much less a human.
