When I lived in Lower Alabama (swamp South) I lived off of US231, a 4 lane divide access highway, my drive way and that of my neighbor we shared. People would have car trouble and stop and park right in front of the driveway bracketed by drainage ditches. No way to access the long drive way to teh houses that sat a far ways back. I would come home earlier then my wife and my neighbors and I would push the cars down into the drainage ditch. I had a few pissed off people that came back. I usually met them with a shotgun. That tended to cool heads. It was in a rural area. Sheriff department didn't care, they were good ol' boys too..
