Ah, the stupid thing never learned how to swim.
I brine mine too..not many folks do that.
I leave turkey day to my wife, I just get in the way. We always buy "fresh" turkey, which I always thought meant never frozen. Apparently "fresh" means the grocery store thaws out the turkey for you. Didn't know that.
