Had an eye exam today to check out my right eye for a cataract. Doc agreed with me I needed surgery.
Went into the office to schedule it, and the lady told me it would be done at a particular surgical center. Then she said they require me to be "vaccinated". I said no I won't do that. Then she said if that's the case they require a covid test. I said I'm not gonna do that either.
So no scheduling took place. I told the lady, if i get involved in an accident because of this, I will sue the surgical center. That will never happen, of course, but still.
Boy, you should have seen the look on her face.
Now, I realize some of you may think i am a stupid asshole for this stance. But I can assure you, I am not stupid. Asshole goes without saying.
But here is the thing, I am not going to violate my principles for this covid shit. I believe this whole thing is wrong, and even though my particular stance will not change a single goddamn thing, it is still MY choice, not theirs. And that is worth more to me than a cataract repair.
When you get a chance to get the new lens go through the reviews on the many sites open for medical reviews . I had one turn out great and then the second one at a different hospital that totally sucks . And we have conservative leaning medical groups popping up all over the country to supply the right with competent and honest medicine .

DeleteFred, I have a fairly sharp pen knife around here and I could cut a hunk of some clear plastic lid I have and fashion you a lens... it would be cheap and I don't require stinkin' mask or the jab. Of course I do ask for the $50 bucks up front...
