 Here is ShortBus Joe heading to the helicopter. Check out this video. His hands cover the pic of the microphone.

Check out the helicopter. No blades turning but it sure sounds like the thing is spun up ready to go.

  2. Just a note on the Helicopter; the H-3 normally uses one engine as an auxiliary power unit (APU) to get things started before the rotor brake is released. The VH-3, Marine One, has a separate and smaller APU to power the aircraft. The rotor usually starts spinning after everyone is on board.

  5. Also regarding the helo. They use a flight of 3 helicopters, (so no one knows which one to shoot down) so it might also have been one of the other choppers' engine.
