This is the most blatant and egregious use of LawFare...the use of the legal system as a weapon...we have ever seen. Proof that our legal system is corrupt, irredeemably broken.
ReplyDeleteI believe OCC regulations dictate that the lending institution has to do their own due diligence on every loan, no bank loans money based on the bowsers evaluation of the pledged assets, they either hire the appropriate appraisers or they are on staff. Banks want solid coverage on loans especially if the pledge assets are sensitive to interest rates or the market demand. No bank wants to take over real estate, they are in the lending business, that’s how they make their money.
