I have a question about ammo magazines. How long should I leave one loaded before removing the ammo and loading another one? Does leaving it loaded screw up the spring, or is that an old wives tale?
My shotgun also. Can I leave it loaded without danger of the spring taking a set?
I picked up 3 more california 10 round limit mags yesterday. All they had in stock. Getting prepared for novembers storm.

ReplyDeleteAs I understand from what I have read, mags are designed to be filled, and stay perfectly ready for years. I normally only fill my 30 round mags with 28...just in case.

DeleteQuality magazines will stay compressed for years. Witness stories of magazines found from World War II during home renovations in Europe where 70 years later magazines are still in good condition and tensioned.
