If that is the case I imagine PG&E won't be far behind. Or maybe they already bumped the rates. Who knows.
I have not been on the pge natural gas usage for 14 years now. We moved out to a semi rural area and we use propane.
This increase may come as a shock to some of the slowjoeandthehoe voters.
I just got this e-mail this morning. Surprise, surprise. Newsom "goes green," and my green is going. What the hell else is new? ...As if it's never been this cold before in the USA... Notice the orchestrated effort by people like Nanny Newsom to outlaw new natgas lines and the federal government's push to ban gas stoves. Nothing to see here, folks. Move it along. Nothing like having everyone on a single point of failure utility system that can be shut off with the click of a mouse if your social credit... er... politics... aren't what they want to see...
ReplyDeleteAs for propane in the Fool's Golden State, an "RV" tank that cost me $18.00 to fill last winter costs me $30.00 to fill this year. That's an increase of over 50%.
I've supplemented my home heating with kerosene heaters for years. I was able to get five gallons of kerosene for $48.00 last winter. It's sitting at around $65.00 for that same jug this year... if you can find it...

ReplyDeleteNo propane is not cheap. I don't know how it compares to nat gas anymore I haven't kept up with that. My last propane fillup though was the same amount I paid 14 years ago with a different company, and I got less gas 14 years ago. Needless to say after the first winter i found a much lower price to pay. At least until recently.
DeleteGas, oil, and other taxes levied by the FedGov as of Jan 1 this year. Nobody in the Lamestream Media has pointed this out yet... but it affects EVERYthing you buy, ship, or consume.
