Well, what else is the wef involved in?
High chicken egg prices will force us to resort to other means of feeding. For example, bugs. Chickens eat bugs. Then we're gonna run out of bugs to eat cause the chickens are eating them. Then they're gonna kill the chickens cause they're eating too many bugs.
That's how government works.
It is normal for chickens to reduce or stop laying when they molt and if the light length is decreased if you don’t supplement light. Here in Alaska the light factor can be worse along with severe cold and there aren’t any bugs! Try adding kitchen scraps, I cook a few cull potatoes along with scraps and a little rice and protein supplement. Also scatter a cup of cheep dry cat food for quality protein and to get them off the perches and moving.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do about the light situation when it is light most of the day? Is that a problem or just when it's dark?
