Here is an example of that second meme. There is a CCR song that the lyrics apparently say, Stuck in Lodi, again.

Well, for a couple hundred years I sang the lyrics as, Stuck in low, dyin again.

I'm tellin ya, that is an absolutely appropriate verse for me. I used to drive a 1962 ford that would get stuck and not shift out of low gear. I used to have to crawl under the damn thing in the middle of the damn street and physically yank it out of low.
