Here is a lot of info you probably never wanted to know about crisco shortening.
Lard is what I prefer. Shortening is just like margarine. That shit never rots.

I use it on my cast iron pans that's about it.I did see a bakery on fire that had a few hundred cans of it, burned like a Tesla for hours.
