This is a pretty good video. The guy seems to know what he is doing. The only thing I disagree with him on is the 25 foot whip he is using. He made that into a suicide cord when he placed a male receptacle on both ends. I would have preferred to put a male plug on the house, and then use a standard cord with male on one end and female on the other. Much safer that way.
Proverbs 20:2 A king’s wrath strikes terror like the roar of a lion; those who anger him forfeit their lives.

Thank you, picked up valuable pointers. Gotta say one thing: wearing jewelry around live electric systems gives me the willies.
ReplyDeleteMe also.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was freshly married for the second time, my naive wife asked me why I took off my gold wedding band when I worked around the house or on the vehicles/RVs. I got on the internet and brought up some amputations of the ring finger with the band attached to the severed digit... as they say a picture is worth ten thousand words and arguments. I was never asked again and the little wifey would go on to asking if I took it off.
ReplyDeleteI worked on boilers and related equipment for 20+ years. I wore my wedding ring religiously when I first got married. One of the safety videos/meetings I attended showed what you just described. I talked to my wife, put the ring in a box, and now I have no idea where the box is, but I still have my finger unscathed.
